Derby Day

Hey Cougs,

Deana and I were discussing a non-football fieldtrip for this Saturday (5/3) to the racetrack at Belmont park:

In addition to the live races, they will also be simulcasting the races from the Kentucky Derby. Admission's cheap ($2 for grandstand, $5 for clubhouse), you can BYO cooler, and the LIRR goes straight to the track. The Derby is around 6pm, figure we'll head out sometime in the afternoon.

Clearly I think it sounds good, but as an update - my apprearance will depend on how well I'm walking. The third bad sprain and my advanced age (I know, I know, I don't look a day over 52!)combines to make the healing process slower...

I'll obviously let you know.
