Cougars Almost Tie!

Red cards, verbal on-field fights, and a speedy Brooklyn Union team proved too much for the Cougars who ended the game down 4 goals. Theatrical falling by numbers 10 and 13 on the Union team led to amusement, irritation, spitting, and multiple game stoppages as the referee repeatedly pulled yellow and red cards.

Though the win-streak came to an end, the Cougars learned some valuable information: Alex is at a disadvantage when it's 4-on-1 in front of the goal; Sandwich cannot play and talk at the same time; and Graham will slide tackle in a league without slide tackling.

Still, it wasn't all bad for the Cougars. Great saves, some nifty shots on goal, and strong defending kept Team Cougar in the game for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, these are 40 minute games.

Bring it back Cougars, Sunday-style!
