Next Season & Cougin Updates

Guten Tag Pumen -

I hope the week is going well for you all, and that you are eagerly anticipating the playoffs this Sunday.

Looking ahead to next season - there will be another Chinatown Sunday league starting in the fall. I'm waiting for confirmation but it may be starting the 3rd weekend of August or the 2nd weekend of September. Same days, same deal.

Other options are:

• Urban Soccer (though I think we're still in the hole a couple of $$ to them)
• McCarren Park - it looks like there are 1 or 2 leagues, one on Tuesday nights. I'm still trying to confirm if there are open spots.
  
• Metrosoccer, Coed Soccer, Zog, etc...
  

Two questions:

1. Who's CougIN for Sundays in the Fall?
2. Who's CougIN for a different day/league/location?

Also, I updated the Cougin NYC page so that it looks a little bit nicer. Still some work to do. Please post responses on the site rather than by email so that it's easier to keep track of everyone's preferences. Also if you want to post anything cougs or otherwise on the site everyone on the Cougars mailing list has permissions set to do so. That's all for now.

Cougs lose 2-1 in the Wildcat battle... Playoffs begin next week!

Cougs lost a tough one yesterday on a last gasp goal by the Panthers. Playoffs start next week. We play the Cebollitas - which translates to little douchebags. For anyone who played in the game against them 3 weeks ago, a second crack at these guys will be more than worth it. Hopefully we can get more than 1 sub on the sidelines for this one.

Oh, and congratulations Leslie!

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July, and is hungry for a win this weekend against the little onions. We played against them 2 games ago, when they were subbing in for V United. They have some decent players, so let's bring our A game and kick some butt!
