Winter Season Underway... Next Game 12/7

The league fed us a tough one yesterday Cougs.

As darkness fell on the LES, we teamed up with members of the Panthers, forming a Wildcat alliance. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to solve our finishing woes against Inter United, and we went down 2-1. Light, or lack thereof, played a greater role than the cold. In the end it was a fun evening, followed by tasty libations at Loreley. Next time you go, ask for the glühwein - you won't be sorry.

In any event, we are back in action, and it's time to get out the thermal underoos.

Game 7: vs. Mavericks, Sunday 10/12 at 1:40pm

Cougs - last game of season this Sunday. We're playing the Mavericks. They're currently in 3rd place but judging by their record, they're at a similar level to us. We need to take this one to close out the season on a high.

Another win for the Cougs!

Last night the Cougs found the resolve necessary to pull of a 1-0 victory against Ocoyucan. Alvaro reappeared like a specter from the shadows to seal the victory with a terrific strike in the first half. Following some nervy moments, we held on for the victory as darkness fell over the pitch.

Cougars Game 5 - 9/28 at 5pm vs. 06 United

Cougs - Another exciting match ahead this weekend. A handful of us are out of town for the game and we're all hoping for another good showing. We may need some cougringers for this one.

Cougars Victorious

Another hot Sunday afternoon saw the Cougars emerge victorious!

In a nail-biter, we staked a 1-0 lead in the first half, only to see them battle back to tie in the 2nd. After some nervy moments, Emma sealed the win with her killer instinct in the 2nd. No way they were coming back. Big ups to our defensive players - Ventura, Jacks, and Mike Jr. in goal.

Let's keep the streak alive next game.
