The showdown between Coro and Cougars is on for this Sunday. Coro features several one-time Cougars, along with one unnamed dedicated Coug who it so happens will be out of town this weekend, and has to miss the game.

June 20th - NY Red Bulls vs. Seattle Sounders
Given the Cougars rich connection to the Pacific Northwest, some of the Cougs were discussing a possible outing to watch the Sounders of Seattle take on the Red Bull of New York this summer. Looks like it's coming up in another two months. Anyone CougIn?
Ticket packages for 4 are available for about $30/person including a fancy t-shirt.
Cougars/Coro/Inter/United comes in 3rd
For yesterday's tournament, we fielded a squad of 2 cougars, 4 interuniteds, 2 coro's, and 3 strangers. Even in the sun, it was disappointingly cold and Sanchez's disorganization meant we spent our first 90 minutes watching a pick-up game before the soccer got underway.
We won the first game 1-0 against a mariachi team, lost the 2nd 5-1 against the incredible hulks, and then went down 3-1 to the vipers.
Sorry if anyone showed during the period of disorganization and missed us - we were running back and forth between Grand Street and Stanton Street Fields for much of the day.
