Cougar Chase Saturday 10am

Who's up for a Hash Run on Saturday?

The First Inaugural Cougar Chase
Saturday March 21st
Meeting Time: 10am
Location: Union Square, George Washington Statue at 14th Street
Distance: 5-6 miles total

Details: the traditional hash run places fun, camaraderie, and drinking over speed. I have set the trail ahead of time and will be giving out destinations at each checkpoint. Certain checkpoints may involve drinking or eating. Expect the event to take about 2.5-3 hours including stops. If you'd like to meet up along the route, call or text me at (917) 686-5059 and I can give you a checkpoint to meet at.

Best beer in town??? Nah.

Another 2-0 victory over the Pickpockets last week closed the regular season for the Cougars. A brace by Coro-Cougar stand-in Doug secured the victory, before we headed off to our favorite bars, couches, and dens to watch the night's gridiron match-up.

Good work Cougs! Let's take the win on Sunday!

Cougars - the close season is upon us. Somehow we have a rematch vs. Pickpockets. Last week was fun. Let's have another.

Good win yesterday Cougars, and good showing. Perhaps it just needs to be extra cold for us to get a full squad... and score some goals. Good ones from Jake and Emma yesterday.

The 1st half of the season is done. Depending on timing, we'll either get a replay against all the teams, or playoffs will start. Let's keep the momentum going with some more wins!

Maybe this time it will happen - at least the weather's better, nay even downright balmy!

Part Time CougIN

Cougars - we're experiencing some low turnout at games so far this season. Anyone feeling more up to it now that we're into 2009?

Last weekend was snowed out, and possibly this weekend given the temperatures. I'll send word from Rudolf as soon as I hear about Sunday.

Also regarding $$'s - if you haven't paid already, please do. If you are interested in getting back on the field, we can do an end of season rate of $30 for the next 3-5 weeks depending on playoffs. I'm currently about $300 in the hole, and would love to climb out of it before we change the team name to the Gophers.
