Cougars Win! (by default)

Playing against V United, which included a whopping 2 roster members and 8 ringers, the 8 Cougs at Stanton field played strong and hard, creating numerous scoring opportunities, but ultimately suffered from heat, dehydration, concussions (everything okay Kevin?), and cant-hit-the-back-of-the-net-itis.

While we controlled play for long periods, the goals proved elusive, and our opponents were able to capitalize on a couple of defensive lapses. The 4-0 result was a harsh one, especially given that Alex had yet another stellar performance in goal.

But since the other team barely showed up, we win. Cougars are 2-1 for the summer! Let's keep the winning record through next weekend's game!

Summer Season + Gear

Cougs - The summer season starts either THIS SUNDAY or next - I'm just waiting for confirmation from the league.

I'll have your jerseys at the first game (jerseys for new cougs may not show up in time for the first game, go figure).

Good work for our first go in the Sunday league Cougs! Next season begins either 6/8 or 6/15. The jerseys are supposed to be arriving at my place tomorrow - just in time for the start of our run to the championships!
